ezLaborManager is an ADP owned and developed product that has already been in use in the USA and Canada since 2002, where over 25,000 clients and 3 million employees now use the service. It has now been localised for the UK marketplace and offers current and new ADP freedom customers the option of having a one-stop-shop, whereby time and attendance is fully synchronised with payroll. This ensures that no re-keying of data is required, thereby eliminating possible human error, and gives companies the ease of working with one provider with regards to implementation, configuration, billing and customer support.
As well as offering the ‘time capture’ functionality traditionally associated with time and attendance systems, ezLaborManager also suits the increasingly complex requirements of ‘white collar’ employees by incorporating time management features. This gives companies the ability to manage efficiency, staff productivity and accurately bill clients, through allocating time to particular projects or cost centres. It can also facilitate the management of flexible working, overtime, holiday entitlement and absence.
Users will benefit from the advantages of a web-native system, including zero IT footprint and real-time data capture. This also means that management reports, such as absence or lateness information, are constantly available and up-to-date, plus the service can be accessed from any location at any time, enabling flexible and home working.
Jes Turner, ezLaborManager Programme Manager, ADP, commented on the announcement: “ezLaborManager is all about increasing accuracy, efficiency and streamlining payroll preparation. It does this through its ability to capture information and input it into the ADP freedom HR and Payroll system. This reduces possible errors from re-keying information, empowers employees to check information is accurate and reduces HR and management time.
“Once the data is collected, the system speeds up reporting and aids compliance with, for example, Working Time Directive regulations,” continues Turner. “Data can be entered from any computer with internet access – a real benefit for today’s mobile workforce - plus working with ADP freedom, it is also easier to manage internally as there is a single point of contact at ADP for all issues that may arise.”
