IPP awards first re-accredited payroll quality standard to ADP


April 2010: The Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) has announced that ADP, the payroll service and HR solutions provider, has been re-accredited under its Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP).

ADP was the first company to win accreditation in 2008 and is the first to be re-accredited for a further two years.

The award recognises that ADP continues to apply best practice in payroll professional development. The accreditation demonstrates that the company has reached the standards set out by the IPP in order to provide a compliant and efficient payroll service to the organisation and its clients.

The PQP accreditation was introduced in July 2007 to provide a standard for professional development in payroll, encouraging organisations to maintain professional competence whilst enhancing and developing payroll skills and knowledge.

To achieve the standard, ADP went through a rigorous assessment of its induction, appraisal and development processes, incorporating a written application and site visits.
