Payroll software costing businesses more than £104,280 per year - Many businesses unaware of hidden costs of in-house systems 

23 April 2010: Businesses that use in-house software to manage and run their employee payroll are spending an average of £85,000 on set-up costs, maintenance charges and administration time, as well as hidden costs such as IT support, according to research by ADP, the leading provider of outsourced HR and payroll services. The study has found that these costs could be almost halved through the use of SaaS (Software as a Service) systems.

ADP and Decathlon make a winning team


22 March 2010: Decathlon, the French sports chain, has chosen ADP to provide payroll and time and labour management for its 650 employees across seven UK stores. The company will use the ADP freedom and ezLaborManager services, with the aim of improving payroll efficiency and accuracy while supporting expansion plans, which involve a new Decathlon store in Belfast and smaller-store format, Koodza, later this year.

ADP scoops two awards at payroll ceremony
 

23rd September 2009: ADP Employer Services graciously accepted two awards at the 6th Annual IPP Payroll and Pensions Excellence Award, taking home the title of Payroll Employer of the Year and Payroll Provider of the Year (larger business category). The awards, held on 16 September at the Alton Towers Conference Centre, were organised by the Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) to recognise the hard work and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations in the payroll industry.

ADP passes the test for SHL

9 September 2009: SHL, the global leader in talent assessment solutions in the workplace, has chosen ADP to run the payroll of its 345 UK staff. The company, which is based in Thames Ditton in Surrey, will implement ADP freedom in the UK and hopes to eventually introduce the international service, ADP Streamline, across Europe.

Harwoods chooses ADP to support business acceleration


31 July 2009: Harwoods, the car dealership, has chosen ADP to run the payroll for its 660 employees in 12 locations across the South of England. The company, a family run business established in 1931, has chosen ADP’s web based system, ADP freedom, and will receive a processing service alongside its HR administration tools.

5 February 2009: Nimax Theatres Limited, the owners and managers of five West End theatres, including the world famous Lyric, Apollo, Garrick, Vaudeville and Duchess, has chosen ADP Employer Services to run the payroll for its entire UK workforce.
