ADP launches ADP freedom 2.10 - payroll and HR for the entire employee lifecycle
18th October 2006: ADP Employer Services, the leading supplier of human resources (HR) and payroll services, has today launched the latest enhancement of ADP freedom - version 2.10 - now incorporating key employee development and benefits management functionality.
Whilst continuing to offer real-time, best practice self-service payroll and absence management, ADP freedom has evolved to encompass employee skills and competencies, performance reviews, training and development needs and job profile. These features enable HR professionals to efficiently track the talent in their organisation and align this with organisational requirements. Benefits management enables HR managers to create benefit schemes, group these into plans and view statistics on enrolment and uptake, streamlining the process dramatically. Any impact on payroll is automatically managed by the application, improving accuracy and control whilst preventing duplication of effort. Employees can view benefit statements through employee self-service for complete transparency.
All the new features will be immediately available as part of the ADP freedom service and deployment is seamless for the client.
For example, as part of the features, HR professionals will be able to view on a single screen an appraisals dashboard giving key statistics on the process or a complete attributes record for each employee as a CV presentation for quick and easy analysis.
Other key features include a Training and Development Catalogue which helps appraisers to identify the right training activities to satisfy the individual’s needs as well as skill or attribute searches. Alerts can also be set on the system to remind HR and line managers of training needs, appraisals and other deadlines. Ian Sparrow, ADP freedom Product Director, said: "One of the key challenges faced by HR professionals today is the attraction and retention of talent, increasing the need for organisations to focus on the performance management, training and development of its employees. Also, in today’s competitive job market, presenting the value of benefits to employees and the effective management of these is crucial.
“ADP freedom v2.10 addresses this need by providing smart features and tools which allow organisations to work together and in a more streamlined and efficient manner. Specifically, managing talent through consistent measurement helps employees to realise their full potential and help to identify hidden talent within the organisation. This must be a win win for both employers and employees. Employers can develop the potential of each employee and utilise this to the organisation’s best advantage and each individual’s talents can be fully recognised.”
