ADP is natural choice for organic food company
8th June 2007: Hain Celestial, a US-based natural and organic food company, has chosen ADP to manage its payroll and HR needs for 625 UK employees in a deal worth over £100,000. The company, which supplies all of the leading UK food retailers, previously ran separate HR and payroll systems but decided to move to ADP freedom to consolidate and increase efficiency. ADP will also be serving a number of the company’s employees in Europe and America.
ADP freedom, ADP’s online service, was only initially considered by Hain Celestial for its HR functionality with the company’s payroll contracted to another supplier until 2008. However, once ADP highlighted that the return on investment (ROI) would cover the costs of breaking this agreement, Hain Celestial was satisfied and decided to go ahead with both functions.
ADP will be providing a bureau payroll service, including the processing of P11Ds, and HR functionality including employee development and benefits. Hain Celestial’s salaried employees will also benefit from Employee Self Service, enabling them to view and amend certain personal details and check their payslips online.
“Hain Celestial was looking for ways to improve efficiency and ADP provided this with a combined HR and payroll package,” explains the UK Head of HR at Hain Celestial. “We have been very impressed with the service offering, the professionalism of ADP employees and their ability to listen to and meet our needs.”
Alan Brennan, Managing Director, ADP UK, commented: “This deal once again highlights the strength of ADP freedom in offering both payroll and HR functionality. Hain Celestial was attracted by the ROI case for consolidation which will make a real difference to efficiency and the bottom line.”
