ADP scoops two awards at payroll ceremony
23rd September 2009: ADP Employer Services graciously accepted two awards at the 6th Annual IPP Payroll and Pensions Excellence Award, taking home the title of Payroll Employer of the Year and Payroll Provider of the Year (larger business category). The awards, held on 16 September at the Alton Towers Conference Centre, were organised by the Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) to recognise the hard work and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations in the payroll industry.
The coveted Employer of the Year award, which was won by ADP for the second consecutive year, recognises employers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to developing their people. Judges were yet again impressed with ADP’s commitment to staff development and the professional accreditations that back this up, such as the IPP’s own PQP accreditation, which ADP was the first company to achieve in 2008. ADP was singled out for its commitment to training and development and its generous benefits offering.
ADP then went on to beat stiff competition for the Payroll Service Provider of the year title, which is awarded to the company best able to demonstrate commitment to customer service and an effective and compliant payroll function. The judges felt that ADP’s client testimonials showed them to be an organisation dedicated to offering a flexible service based on clients’ needs - from small businesses with no PAYE experience to international companies looking for multinational solutions.
Don McGuire, Managing Director, ADP said: “Winning this award is testament to the hard work that goes on each day at ADP to offer our customers a high quality, personalised and reliable payroll/HR service. No matter how technology advances, nothing can replace top quality customer service delivered by highly motivated and well trained people. This is why the Employer of the Year and Payroll Provider of the Year awards are very important to us.”
Vickie Moss, Head of Business Development, IPP said: “The judges were impressed with ADP’s dedication to internal and external customer service and the numerous client and employee testimonials that supported their nominations. The awards were for an “employer” and “service provider” so delivering a high quality service and proving that is essential in these categories. ADP provided clear examples of staff development programmes through induction, training and promotional opportunities, as well as providing evidence of performance management to ensure high standards of delivery to their customers, making ADP deserving winners of both awards.”
