12 July 2012: Euro Car Parts Ltd, the UK’s leading distributor of parts for all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles, has, after a competitive pitch, chosen ADP to provide an integrated payroll and HR solution. The company will use ADP freedom and ADP HR.net to manage the payroll and HR functions for its 5,000 employees across the UK.
Euro Car Parts sought an outsourcing partner after significant business growth and expansion, which resulted in the day to day paper administration becoming a burden for its payroll and HR teams. Therefore, it needed a simple system to support the efficient and effective management of its payroll and HR.
Euro Car Parts has approximately 110 branches around the UK, from Aberdeen to Plymouth, and as a result needed a solution that could manage large amounts of data but one that would also remain accessible to HR teams and managers. In addition, the company has a complex system of flexible working, shift patterns and employee requests. ADP freedom and HR.net will enable Euro Car Parts to map and capture all the data in one place.
Martin Gray, People Director at Euro Car Parts, said: “ADP is the perfect company to partner with. It understands our business and is willing and able to work with us to accommodate our needs. The transparency of the pitch and the way ADP constructs the workflow highlighted their track record of managing large accounts.
“The online system means that we can implement the solution company-wide and ensure that data is kept up-to-date and accurate. The fact that ADP can advise us and ensure that we keep a tight grip on legislation is an added bonus.”
Don McGuire, Managing Director, ADP UK, said: “ADP freedom and HR.net will provide the perfect solution for Euro Car Parts, offering an easy-to-use system which reduces the administrative burden of the HR and payroll teams. ADP’s Web-based functionality is a vital requirement for Euro Car Parts Ltd, and will make the process more efficient and allow for data to be captured in one place, regardless of work location.”
