ADP integrity adds confidence for growth
Navigant Consulting became a public company in 1996 since when it has enjoyed substantial expansion through acquisition and organic growth. Its business as a leading specialised consulting firm providing dispute, financial, regulatory and operational advisory services, primarily to companies in regulated industries, government agencies and legal counsel, employs over 2,000 people.
With offices in the USA, Canada, the UK and most recently in the Czech Republic, Navigant continues its growth strategy with the same care and attention that it pays to its staff. For Linda Rejmenczak, Navigant's Corporate Payroll Manager, making sure that the company's consultants are paid the correct salary within each of the territories is made easier with ADP's expert help.
Navigant has had a presence in the UK for many years, and two years ago switched from an in-house payroll provision for its 90 staff to ADP, the world's number one payroll and employer management services organisation. It is the name synonymous with the high quality service that the company has come to expect from its ADP partners in North America.
"We wanted the same benefits and functions for London that we were getting for our Chicago HQ and for our team in Canada", says Linda. Running the payroll at such a distance, and with the added challenge of different time zones, makes ADP's web enabled service an essential tool. "Web based reporting works well. It is useful to be able to pull the data I need at a time that suits me".
The fact that ADP's service as payroll management works well is a given. It is ADP's expert knowledge that comes into its own for Linda. "Being in the US means that I have to be able to rely on local knowledge in other parts of the world. ADP's on-line reports about new government initiatives, and knowing that these will be applied intelligently to our needs makes all the difference. ADP's service is excellent", applauds Linda.
As Navigant establishes its presence in the Czech Republic it expects to grow from initial set up with 2 to 3 people to 20 people very quickly. For the moment, the business will manage its payroll needs from London, but there will come a point when a critical mass will mean that a territory specific provision is required. As a US, publicly quoted organisation that also operates internationally, Navigant needs a partner that is financially astute as well as secure. ADP more than delivers, as one of the few companies which has passed Type II compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, and enjoying year after year of Standard and Poor's triple AAA rating, "ADP maintains the integrity that we are looking for", says Linda.
