The Wage Bill & Payroll Debate 2008 |
| With many organisations cautious of a slowdown in the economy and with the wage bill being one of an organisation’s single largest expense, ADP asked “Are businesses taking their payroll seriously enough?” |
| Following market place research, at the end of May 2008 ADP organised a unique debate forum, which brought together a panel of industry experts at Somerset House in London. The aim of the event was to explore research findings and understand why it is that whilst so many organisations analyse expenditure and demand a better return on investment in order to minimise future cost growth, they rarely look to the wage bill to achieve savings. |
| Is it because there are no real savings to be made? Are the savings less than obvious, or are some organisations missing a trick? |
